Grilled Lobster Tails with Garlic Butter

Ingredients:

  • 4 lobster tails
  • ½ cup butter, melted
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 1 tbsp chopped chives
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ tsp coarse salt
  • 1 pinch black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 pinch red pepper flakes
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the grill to medium heat.
  2. Prepare the lobster tails by cutting the top of the shell lengthwise and gently pulling the meat out while keeping it attached at the base.
  3. Mix the garlic butter by combining melted butter, lemon juice, parsley, chives, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  4. Brush lobster meat with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Grill flesh-side down for about 5-6 minutes until lightly charred.
  6. Flip the lobster, brush with half of the garlic butter, and cover the grill. Cook for another 3-4 minutes until just cooked through.
  7. Remove from grill, brush with remaining garlic butter, and serve with lemon wedges.
